Hey guys, go clean your guns and get ready for this year’s Men and Boy’s Retreat! This year’s retreat features a shooting competition (optional but crazy fun!) and biblical teaching. Draw closer to God with an epic retreat!
Pastor Jake Wyatt of First Baptist Church Cedaredge is going to speak from the theme Give Me Jesus.
The key verse is Philippians 3:8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ.
He will delve into:
- God’s Holiness
- God’s Mercy
- God’s Grace
Details:
Check-in is Friday, May 29, between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm.
Check-out is Sunday, May 21, after lunch.
If you need a late check-in, please let us know so we know when we can expect you!
For the Shooting Competition:
You are welcome to bring your own shotgun, .22, handgun, and ammunition.
If you do not have a gun to bring, there will be some available for you to use.
Please bring at least one box of shells for your shotgun OR one box of 12-gauge shotgun shells and 100 rounds of .22 shells for the shooting competition. Also, please bring personal eye and ear protection.
Other things to pack:
Bible
Water bottle
Warm jacket
Toiletries/ towel
Bedding for a bunk bed if you do not upgrade to a private room.
Fishing gear/licenses if you want to fish in the nearby area.
Retreat Cost:
- $90.00 per person for dorm style accommodations
- Private room upgrade for $25.00. Available on a first come first request basis.
